STUFFED PEPPERS

For dinner tonight we had homemade stuffed peppers and a creamy cucumber salad.  I made the stuffed peppers with ground lamb versus ground beef.  They were tasty but there wasn't much difference in flavor having used lamb versus beef.   Perhaps the next time I think I will add some fresh mint, cumin, some goat's cheese, and for Bob some raisins.  I hope this will enhance the flavor of the lamb.

BOUNTIFUL HARVEST

Today we picked some red and yellow bell peppers, poblano peppers, jalapeno and serrano peppers.  As you can see, they are bright and beautiful.  Now I have to quickly find some excellent recipes.  If you have anything in mind, please let me know.

FIRST AND LAST

This is our first yellow pepper and our last cucumber from our garden.  My red and yellow peppers are doing well this year.  I think we picked over 60 cucumbers this season.  It will kill me to buy them at the market.

SAM'S DUCKS LIKE TO DRINK TOO!

On a hot summer afternoon, the ducks love it when Sam gives them water with the hose.  Ahhhh, nice and refreshing.
