Today one of my good neighbors invited a group of ladies to her home for lunch and to relax by the pool. The water was a perfect temperature and crystal clear.
This is definitely just what the doctor ordered after spreading seven yards of mulch in our yard on Monday and Tuesday in the hot and humid weather. It was indeed refreshing.
Now this is retirement!

ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better than working in the yard and cooling off in the pool. I have spent every day since Sunday doing the exact same thing. There is nothing better for the heart, soul, mind and body. I'm happy you got to enjoy it after all that hard work. Let's hope this week is a prelude to many more hot and sunny days to come!

ReplyDeleteHoney...I outgrew mine. Hopefully I won't need it if invited?? I have CRS disease...what did R.O.D.E.N.T.S. stand for? Bob doesn't remember either! lol
ReplyDeleteA lot of people have that darned CRS disease :) It stands for "Rat organization for dining, entertainment, and night time swimming" Our group of "water rats" ruled "back in the day"!! Surf n Turf and all!!!
