PIEDRAS DE POMA

Yesterday, we walked over a mile for these "Piedras de Poma".  Would you?  What would you do with them? The cost was 3 pesos...about 35 cents.

  1. Your feet probably needed them by the time you walked there and back, lol. Not sure you are going to use them as pumice stones, but they would work. Why did you buy them .... you must have something in mind????

  2. They´re used to scrub pots, instead of steel wool.

  3. BOB'S COMMENT: The piedra poma is used by our housekeeper to clean the toilets. Regardless of what she says, I still think it's a little too abrasive for the porcelain. After eight washing our toilet seat is now almost on the tile floor. Yesterday, I almost lost my left cheek in the discharge drain. Thankfully, Sam was swimming nearby in what used to be a full-sized tub and pulled me to safety.
