This is our first yellow pepper and our last cucumber from our garden. My red and yellow peppers are doing well this year. I think we picked over 60 cucumbers this season. It will kill me to buy them at the market.
The yellow pepper looks delicious! I don't blame you for not wanting to buy them, they will cost a lot and not be anywhere as tasty as what you grew in your garden. Sounds like you had a very nice crop this year :-)
Honey...we did have a good crop. I also cringe when I have to buy tomatoes. I put all of mine in the freezer. However, I saw my sister today and she just picked her tomatoes yesterday, and she gave me some nice slicing tomatoes. So, I had a BLT for dinner!
