Yesterday was a beautiful Fall day. Earlier in the day we cleaned out two of our flower beds. We still have several more to do but it was a start. Around 5:00 p.m., we started cooking dinner. It was a warm afternoon, so we had the kitchen windows and patio doors open. We were walking in and out from the patio while grilling and enjoying a glass of wine. We were contemplating our future, thinking about our parents and families, and commenting just how lucky we are to have each other. The sun was shining and large rain drops started falling. We just stood there enjoying the moment. A minute or two later, we enjoyed the beautiful rainbow. It was absolutely spectacular. That is something I never get tired of seeing. Perhaps the rainbow was a symbol telling us yes indeed we are "lucky" and we should keep doing what we are doing. Enjoying life and loving each other.
