About five years ago, our community built a park and a pavillion in the downtown area. The funds were a donation from a very generous donor. On Saturdays, we now have a farmer's market. Also the Downtown Development Authority co-ordinates all kinds of activities to bring shoppers and families to the area.
In October, they have a Scarecrow Contest; this year the theme was: BOOKS AND NURSERY RHYMES. Today I was running some errands and I brought my camera with me to try and get a few shots for you to enjoy. It was a beautiful day today and I enjoyed the stroll. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
