NOTHING LIKE MICHIGAN SWEET CORN

While our compadre was visiting we served him corn on the cob.  This is the first time he ever had it served with butter, salt, and pepper.  We cook the corn in water with sugar and milk.  Normally in Mexico one can get elote (corn) from a vendor in the jardin.  They normally smear the elote with mayonnaise and sprinkle it with parmesan cheese.

After having the Michigan sweet corn, our compadre asked for corn every night for dinner.  We think we had it five nights in a row.

  1. Looks good! I will have to try the mexican way of serving it, that really sounds delicious.
